Dth is a proteolysis-targeting chimera (PROTAC) composed of the fluorescent probe for RNA DFHBI (Item No. 34555) and the immunomodulatory compound thalidomide (Item No. 14610).{65933} It binds to a genetically expressed RNA aptamer comprising Broccoli and a modifiable and selective protein targeting sequence and induces degradation of mCherry in HEK293T cells when used at a concentration of 20 µM. Dth (20 µM) induces degradation of the NF-κB subunit p50, as well as p50 and the E2F transcription factor subtype E2F1, in MCF-7 cells.
